Thanks for the animal carcass warning.

We went to a farm like that in MD last year. I loved the idea that the kids could "milk" a cow. It looks like you had a long and fun day. You ward must have quite a budget to include all of that! Our ward isn't even having a trunk or treat. I'm pretty sad about that.

Oh, yeah, what belly fat?

Sara-
I'm glad I got your sympathy...LOL. It was just a reminder that I still have a lot of work to do to get rid of the signs of birthing 2 children. Yes, Mike is quite satisfied with the outcome of his hunting exploits. I just hope we have room for all the flesh he'll be bringing home.

Jenni-
I felt for most of the animals there. It's kind of sad to see all those kids running at them. You know there must be a few casualties on occasion. I will say though that all the animals were well-behaved and didn't seem to mind all those touchy hands. I'm sorry to hear that there are no satisfactory punkin patches close by. We had a few good ones in Maryland, too. There was a really nice one in NC that had a restaurant as well that had the best macaroni and cheese that I've ever consumed. YUM!

Great post and great pictures. I loved the pumpking patches of the north. I miss that option here. In Florida, a pumpkin patch consists of a church that is selling pumpkins at outrageous prices. They have piles of pumpkins. I miss the actual patch. Looked like a fun time. My favorite picture was the milking shot with Chloe the Cow. As a previously nursing mother, I felt for dear Chloe!!

The field trip looks like it was a lot of fun. I'd pick up a chicken too, but I wouldn't like to let any animal kiss me.

Congrats to Mike on felling the deer. He looks mighty pleased with himself.

And I pity your belly fat. You must treat your belly fat with more care, Jen. (heeheehee. I'm sorry, but I laughed. I sympathized too, but mostly I laughed. I am ashamed)
