The computer armoire that
we have been talking up for so long is finally complete. Annie
will no longer have any mailing labels and computer paper
to eat to chew on. She has, however, figured out how to get
at the printer and push all the cololful buttons. You can
see it on our projects page.

At last, we received the Washington,
D.C. pictures from the Huffs. They can be viewed from
our "Memories" page by
clicking on the Washington, D.C. 2004" polaroid. That's
all I really wanted to say.
Have a great week!

14 MAY 2004
This week has been super busy for us. Tuesday
night I had Enrichment Night. I had to make a pan of "from
scratch" brownies, make dinner for us (Mike and me),
and make dinner for the missionaries to take to them. I was
running around with my head cut off all day. I went through
the big fuss for the brownies, and only 1/4 of the expected
people showed up. Mike didn't mind though since he got the
leftovers.
Last night I had a stamping party to do,
so Mike and Annie had some quality time with each other. She
was actually in bed when I got home. I had no worries. It
was so nice.
The Change of Command ceremony took place
today. It was given for the boss guys of the dental clinic
at Parris Island. The ceremony was actually a cool thing to
see, all the personnel in their fancy uniforms, the Marine
Corp "band", a bell getting rung, a weird whistle
getting blown, and guys marching around chanting with flags
and stuff. It was all pretty cool. Annie went over to a neighbor's
house for childcare. I was told that she "is such an
easy baby" to take care of. I hope that this continues
throughout her lifetime.
Speaking of Annie.
Her new thing is to scream at the top of her lungs to get
our attention whether good or bad. It's especially fun when
she does it right next to your ear. Also check out her 9th
Month Album.
Mike's going out of town tomorrow to Rapid
City, SD for a supposed dental convention. He's says he's
going to save on hotel costs by camping out in the wilderness.
I somehow doubt he's doing it to save on costs. I saw a fishing
rod packed up somewhere in his bags. Hmmm!
Additionally, you may notice that I've added
pictures to our "Southern Living"
page. Check them out.
